Building & Property

Picture
Buildings, Property, Rentals; Modern, handicap accessible, and recently renovated, our space is available for use by individuals and groups in the Foxboro area as a community service. When we renovated in 2008, part of our ministry plan was to provide spaces for use by community groups in Foxboro. We invite you to partner with us in using these spaces with which we feel God has blessed us. We charge a reasonable rental fee or ask for a donation depending on the organization using the space. As the saying goes, "A picture paints a thousand words..." and so here are pictures of the  spaces we offer our community!  If you would like to inquire about using St. Mark's facilities, please call  508-543-8191.

Our beautiful handicap accessible sanctuary has a raised platform and is perfect for concerts, recitals and other performances. The space is known for its fine acoustic properties. There is flexible seating, an organ, and a Steinway grand piano. Our foyer works well for ticket-taking tables to be set up.  Currently the Neponset Choral Society uses our sanctuary as a rehearsal and concert venue. During December we partner with the Foxboro Discretionary Fund for their Christmas Program of delivering food baskets, clothing, and toys at Christmas time.

Sanctuary - with Middle, Side, and Behind the Altar Seating (250 capacity limit)

We have a large parish hall in the lower level (Undercroft) that is handicap accessible by an elevator, a mid-size open room on the first level (Common Room) which is also handicap accessible, a Music/Meeting Room, and a Small Conference Room variously suitable for large and small meetings, book groups, classes, yoga, and other uses. We have a recently modernized kitchen on the lower level as well as a kitchenette on the main level both of which can be rented for an additional fee. The facilities are generally not used for parties, receptions, or weddings outside of St. Mark's Church functions. Please do contact us, however, if you are interested having a conversation with our priest about marriage in the Episcopal Church.

A few organizations that currently partner with us on a regular basis are the Neponset Choral Society, the Foxboro Art Association, the Al Truax Bridge Club, AA Groups, UnCommon Theater, and the Foxboro Newcomers Group. If you would like to speak with us about using or renting space at St. Mark's for a single event or on a continuing basis, please call (508) 543-8191. Perhaps your group could be next to partner with us!

We invite you to visit our Memorial Garden. We offer this space to the Foxboro community as a respite from our busy and loud world - a place for quiet reflection. Please know that you are welcome to visit our beautiful garden. As you come up the drive, it is to the right and toward the rear of the church buildings.
