Foxborough Founder’s Day

5/28/2026

Picture
The Foxborough Founder’s Day Celebration is coming up on Saturday, June 6th, and we’re excited to share that St. Mark’s will have a booth on the field this year. It’s a wonderful chance for us to show our love for this community and to meet our neighbors with the warmth and hospitality that make St. Mark’s feel like home.

We would be so grateful for your help. Booth setup begins at 8am, and it’s absolutely not too late to join in. Whether you can offer an hour or stay a bit longer, your presence truly makes a difference. If you’d like to lend a hand, please reach out to Kim Freer — she’ll be glad to get you connected.

And if you’re planning to enjoy Founder’s Day, please stop by and say hello. We’ll have raffles, cold water, and simple games for little ones — but most importantly, we’ll have friendly faces and a warm welcome for everyone who passes by.

Let’s show Foxborough who we are: joyful, inclusive, and glad to be part of this town we love.

Picture
Friday, June 12 • 4:00 pm
All women are warmly invited to our final Book Club gathering of the year, hosted at the home of Louise D'Onofrio. We’ll be celebrating with a relaxed potluck—always a wonderful way to share good food, good company, and lots of laughter.

We’ll be discussing The Notes of Your Sudden Disappearance by Alison Espach, but please know you’re truly welcome whether you’ve read the book or not. This group is all about connection, conversation, and creating space for new friendships.

If you’re thinking about joining us for the first time, we would absolutely love to have you. For questions or to let us know you’re coming, please contact Louise

Hope to see you there.

Photography/Social Media Help

5/25/2026

Picture
As we continue improving our website and online presence, we’re hoping to find a couple of parishioners who might enjoy helping St. Mark’s with two small but meaningful volunteer roles: someone to help us capture photos and someone to help us share simple posts on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

No formal titles, no big commitments—just people who enjoy taking pictures, making short videos, or posting online in a way that feels natural and welcoming. If you already do this for fun, you might be a great fit.

If you have any interest, or even just want to learn more about what this could look like, we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to contact Eric Bridgham

Blooming 4 Good Program

5/24/2026

Picture
St. Mark’s has joined forces with Foxboro Stop & Shop for the Bloomin’ 4 Good Program! Throughout June, St. Mark’s will receive a $1 donation for every specially marked $11.99 Bloomin’ 4 Good bouquet purchased at the Foxboro Stop & Shop.

Flowers can make someone’s day, spread smiles, and brighten up a room. Please help us spread the word by sharing this news with family and friends and help get the word out. This program makes it possible to make someone’s day and support St. Mark’s at the same time.

Backpack Collection

5/24/2026

Picture
As the cost of school supplies continues to rise, some families are finding it difficult to prepare their children for the year ahead. The YMCA is gathering and distributing new backpacks to several nearby communities where many of our parishioners live, and we’re joining in to help.

We’ll be collecting backpacks over the next several weeks. Thank you, as always, for your generosity and care for our neighbors.

Prayer Shawl Group

5/23/2026

Picture
Whether you knit, crochet, want to learn, or simply enjoy good company, you’re warmly invited to be part of our Prayer Shawl Group. This is a relaxed, welcoming space where stitches and prayers come together — and new faces are always celebrated.
We offer two ways to join:
  • Wednesday evenings on Zoom at 7:30 pm
  • In‑person gatherings twice a month in the St. Mark’s Common Room
Come to whichever option fits your schedule, or try both.

If you’re already part of the group, consider inviting someone who might enjoy the creativity, companionship, and quiet ministry this circle offers.

For Zoom details, meeting dates, or general information, please contact Pat Dent
