Backpacks!!

6/25/2025

Picture
St. Mark's Outreach Committee are collecting NEW backpacks for Foxboro schoolchildren. The Foxboro Discretionary Fund has arranged with local businesses to donate the school supplies, they just need the backpacks. We will be collecting them for the next 6 weeks (through the end of June). A box for your contributions is in the back of the Sanctuary. Thank you for your help!

  • Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm -- weekly, on Zoom
  • Friday mornings at 10:30am -- every other week, in person, beginning June 27
Knitters and crocheters from Trinity and St. Marks (and beyond!) — as well as all looking to learn or brush up their skills — are welcome and invited to join us! We are planning to meet in person once a month, in addition to our weekly Monday night Zoom meetings.

St. Mark's to host Regional Confirmation Service

6/21/2025

Picture
This year, services of the Right of Confirmation will be hosted regionally. (What is a region in The Episcopal Church in eastern Massachusetts?) St. Mark's will be the host site for one of the Confirmation Services in the Southern Region on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10:30am.

Michael and Charlie Lamb, along with others from the deanery and throughout the diocese, will (re)affirm for themselves the promises made on their behalf in the baptisms and be received into the Episcopal Church.

St. Mark's Archives

6/20/2025

Picture
Did you know that every congregation is supposed to have an archivist of record? Andy Jobin has graciously accepted the call to care for St. Mark's history and memories.

If you find yourself doing some deep cleaning and discover photos or other documents related to St. Mark's please leave them for Andy in the "Archives" mailbox outside of the sacristy!

Give the Gift of Light

6/19/2025

Picture
Memorialize a deceased family member, or honor or celebrate a special event by sponsoring the Sanctuary Lamp. Offerings are $30. Remembrance begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday of that week. Proceeds go to the Altar Guild Fund. A simple gesture that is a sacred moment to reflect and give thanks.

Join Episcopalians during Pride celebrations this June!

6/19/2025

Picture
Join Episcopalians in a witness for love and joy during Pride celebrations this June. The hope is for the Diocese of Massachusetts to have large and visible delegations of LGBTQ+ people and allies walk, march, sashay (take your pick!) in Pride celebrations across eastern Massachusetts. All are welcome to attend any Pride celebration; and, to have more fun and be with others in the diocese, consider joining one of these:

Northern and Western Region
Mystic Valley: TBD
North Shore: Salem Pride, Saturday, June 28

Parish banners welcome, and there will be DioMass T-shirts!

Please complete this form to indicate your interest. Questions?: The Rev. Liz Steinhauser at [email protected].

Together with Pride, Foxboro

6/18/2025

Picture
Last year The Marylin Rodman Performing Arts Center, The Boyden Library, and other Foxborough organizations, including representatives from The Collaboration of St. Mark's & Trinity, Bethany Congregational Church, The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, and The Unitarian Universality Church of Foxboro gathered to share and discuss our desire to celebrate inclusivity and diversity in order to educate, support, and elevate Foxborough's LGBTQ+ community. During the month of June a variety of events will be taking place throughout Foxborough.
