This week, we encountered God in breathtaking landscapes and familiar places alike. From the waterfalls of Hocking Hills, Ohio, and the sacred beauty of Iona Abbey to the streets of Stratford-upon-Avon, we were reminded that God's presence knows no boundaries. Closer to home, we found holiness while tending gardens, caring for our church grounds, and even waiting at the car repair shop. Every place has the potential to become holy ground when we take time to notice.

Everyone is welcome at Bethany's monthly Community Dinner on Saturday, August 8. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and dinner is free. This month's menu features American Chop Suey, tossed salad, dessert, and coffee or tea.

​Whether you are looking for a delicious meal, good conversation, or a chance to connect with neighbors, there is always a place for you at the table. Bethany Church is located at 3 Rockhill Street, Foxboro, with parking available via Market Street.

What a joy it has been to see God's presence reflected in so many different moments this summer! This week's photos captured the simple blessings of baking blueberry bread, strolling through the Boston Public Garden, exploring the Rhode Island Troll Trail, traveling the scenic roads of Maine, admiring vibrant summer flowers, knitting with our Prayer Shawl Ministry, and helping decorate for the Fourth of July.

Whether you are traveling, spending time with loved ones, serving others, creating something with your hands, or simply noticing the beauty around you, we would love to see your photos. As part of our ministry of hospitality and support, St. Mark's is pleased to host three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings each week. AA provides fellowship and support for individuals seeking recovery from alcohol addiction. 

• Tuesday - Women's 12-Step Meeting, 6:30 p.m.
• Thursday - Speaker Meeting, 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday - 12-Step Meeting, 7:30 p.m.

All meetings are open. Family members, friends, and anyone interested in learning more about AA are welcome to attend.
