Children Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montesorri-based curriculum involves interactive hands-on learning where wondering about God is encouraged. The people, history, and geography of the Bible as well as liturgical seasons are explored; however, the conclusions and connections made belong to the individual child. COGS is offered for Ages 3-K and Grades 1-3. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Youth Middle School teens come together for learning and friendship as we seek to find how God is calling us to grow in the stature of Christ and love of God in community. They meet together on Sundays at 10:30 AM. Teen Confirmation Class Confirmation in the Episcopal Church for teenagers represents an adult affirmation of the faith we received when baptized as infants or young children. Preparation provides an opportunity to explore the faith as an emerging adult. Confirmation generally occurs at about age 16 and classes to prepare begin at an appropriate time before this age (14 or 15) depending on how long the classes will run. Confirmation involves "laying on of hands" by a bishop of the church and symbolically represents our connection with the church throughout all space and time. If you are interested in confirmation, please see the priest of the parish. We currently use the curriculum Confirm Not Conform. Confirm Not Conform
