Prayer Shawl Ministry

Several St. Mark’s parishioners knit or crochet prayer shawls for the church. They are available for all people to take to give for illness, difficult times or encouragement. We also give one to each child who is baptized at St. Mark’s. Please feel free to take one if you feel it would help to support someone. We have received many positive comments of appreciation from those who have received one.

They are located in the robing room near the sacristy in a bin. Ask your Compassion Circle leader and they can get one to you. If you would like to contribute to this ministry, we have many easy patterns or you can find one on the internet. Search prayer shawl patterns and there will be many you can print.

Every loving stitch contains a special prayer - That God will send His peace to you and keep you in His care. Contact Pat Dent or the church office for more info.

Ladies Group

The Ladies Fellowship group meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday of each month alternating between lunch and dinner. This allows working ladies to attend in the evening.  We meet to share in friendship and good times. We invite ladies of all ages to come and join us. In addition to lunch/dinner, we try new activities or trips to interesting places such as museums, movies, and other places suggested by the ladies.  We have also enjoyed many fun evenings of playing Bunko, a very popular activity.  We are looking forward to some other events this coming year. Please contact Nancy Antico or the church office for more information.

Men's Breakfast

Picture
Join us on the first Saturday of each month at 8:00am in the lower level of the church for a FANTASTIC BREAKFAST and some pretty wonderful conversation. Everyone pitches in either bringing food, setting up, cooking, or cleaning up. The foods is hot, plentiful, and tasty! Guests do not need to be an attendee of St Mark's, so please come along and BRING A FRIEND. Come have some food and some fun!!  For more information contact Rob Decker or the church office.
