Church School Registration is Open
The Youth and Family Committee has been working hard to recruit Sunday School teachers and we are excited to offer your children an opportunity to grow in their faith through fun and fellowship. If you have a child or children ages 3 years through high school, please register here. Sunday School classes begin Sunday, September 26th.
Our meeting time will be 8:45-9:45 am prior to church services. We are hoping this time change alleviates some of the scheduling challenges relating to sports and other activities in our community. Our programs do not scaffold off one another which allows our youth to engage in a meaningful experience each time. This makes it easier for youth to attend as many times as they are able to without pressure to be here each and every week.
Our programs are as follows:
3 years old - 2nd grade
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (current program)
Teacher - Shirley Instasi
Meeting space is the classroom across from the choir room down the hall from the rest rooms.
We are offering a new youth curriculum that has had a lot of success in surrounding churches called Children’s Ministry. This is a fun, engaging series that parallels life experiences with Bible lessons and parables of Jesus. There are small and large group conversations, games, activities and take home sheets. We are looking forward to feedback from all of you as the year progresses.

The future of St. Mark's Youth and Family Programs needs your help!
The Youth Engagement Committee is seeking volunteers to help organize education and a variety of other activities for our youth. From Faith Formation (a.k.a. Religious Ed) to ministry engagement activities, we are seeking adult volunteers to teach, lead and play! No previous experience or extensive knowledge of Episcopalian Doctrine is required - just a desire to help kids learn that God loves them no matter what. Work with a team of other adults who are here to support both one another and St. Mark's amazing youth! For more information or to volunteer please contact Rebekah Zabinski.
