While greeters welcome people in, ushers help the service flow smoothly. Their ministry includes:
Child Care — A Ministry of Comfort and Support
We are planning to offer nursery care again in the future so that families with young children can worship with peace of mind. This ministry will provide a safe, loving space for our youngest parishioners and a warm welcome to parents who may be visiting for the first time.
Coffee and Conversation — The Heartbeat of Fellowship
Coffee hour is one of the most cherished traditions at St. Mark’s. It’s where friendships grow, newcomers meet familiar faces, and the joy of worship spills into conversation and community.
Coffee Hosts
Coffee Hosts prepare and set out coffee, tea, and refreshments after the service. They help create a space where people can linger, laugh, and connect. This ministry is essential to building the sense of family we treasure.
Refreshment Helpers
Some parishioners support coffee hour by dropping off baked goods or treats before church. These small acts of kindness make a big difference and help keep this beloved tradition thriving.
