St. Mark's Bible ReflectionsTimeless Encounters During the Passion of Christ - Lenten Study Series
This Lent, join us for a three-evening reflection series guided by Maria de Ris. Together, we will explore the powerful, intimate moments along Jesus’ journey to the cross—from the loving anointing by Mary of Bethany to the quiet courage of Simon of Cyrene. Through Scripture, sacred art, and shared conversation, we will consider how these timeless encounters speak to our own lives and discipleship today. Tuesday, March 10, 17, and 24 7:00-8:30pm, at St. Mark’s For more information please contact Maria de Ris, Eric Bridgham or church office. Centering Prayer GroupSt. Mark's Peace Group would like to welcome all to participate in our Centering Prayer meeting.
Centering prayer is a form of Christian contemplative prayer that invites a person to rest quietly in God’s presence. It emphasizes stillness, simplicity, and an open heart rather than spoken words or active reflection. At its core, it’s about gently letting go of distractions and allowing yourself to be centered in God’s love. |
