In-Person Service for Sunday (1/30) CANCELED - Zoom only

1/28/2022

Picture
After consulting with the Wardens and our Director of Music Ministry, we have decided that the impending storm will make travel to the church difficult and potentially unsafe.  Additionally, we need to prepare for loss of power and internet to homes in the communities that St. Mark's serves.  This is what we are going to do:

In-person worship for the 9:30 am service is cancelled.  (Due to the Annual Meeting to follow, we had already cancelled the 8am and 10am, and opted for just one service this Sunday at 9:30am)

We will move our 9:30am service to Zoom only (no Facebook stream) -- contact the office for the Zoom link.  A reminder that if you are without a computer you can access Zoom via telephone by the phone number provided by the office.

If power and/or internet is lost, we will do our best to offer some worship offering at 9:30am, but if there is loss of power in any of the towns we draw parishioners from we will cancel the Annual Meeting and move it to next week.

We want to make sure there is access and equity in connecting to the annual meeting.  If the meeting is cancelled, we will send out an email blast and inform the parish at the 9:30 am service.

Please prepare for this storm, keep safe and check in with one another.

Contact the office for the Zoom Link for 9:30am Sunday Service AND 11:00am Annual Meeting. You can join us for one or both, using the same link at the time of the service and/or meeting.

Meals Needed for Parishioners

1/27/2022

Picture
Last Sunday Fr. Ed asked us to keep several of our parishioners in our prayers. Thank you to everyone who has provided prayers, visits, phone calls, cards and meals. This means so much to those who are dealing with health issues and grief.

Currently, we have been asked to provide meals for three parishioners and we need your help with this effort. We will be providing meals on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday for the next month or so. If you can help provide and deliver a meal, please  click here  to fill out an informational form. Pat Dent, our pastoral care coordinator will be in touch to work out the details.

This year's Annual Meeting will again be virtual, on Zoom, at 11:00am Sunday, January 30th.

We will only have one in-person/online service that day, at 9:30am, to give everyone enough time to get home for the annual meeting at 11:00am.

Please attend the meeting if you can.

Little Food Pantry

1/11/2022

Picture
Two years ago this week, our Little Food Pantry was blessed by Fr. Ed and filled with lots of food. It is still providing 24/7 access for those in need.

It mostly takes care of itself, but if anyone wants to add to it, they are welcome. We only ask that during these freezing cold temperatures, no liquids or foods that could freeze be put down there. What a mess that would be!

It's tough for us to check it daily, so if anyone goes by and sees liquids or foods that could freeze, please remove them and we'll donate them to the Foxboro Food Pantry.

Thank you for all your help, always!
