The Season of Lent

2/11/2023

Picture
Our Lenten journey this year begins in just a few weeks. More information about Lenten opportunities for learning, prayer, worship, and conversation will be forthcoming shortly.

Please plan to join us as we mark the beginning of this journey on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2023. There are two worship opportunities this year:
  • In-person at St. Mark's (7pm): Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes.
  • On Zoom hosted by Trinity Wrentham (7pm): Prayer and Self-Imposition of Ashes.
Those planning to participate in the Zoom service are asked to be in touch with Rev. Lauren no later than Sunday, February 19 so that an at home worship kit can be delivered to you.

Jacques Joseph Tissot, Mary Magdalene Questions the Angels in the Tomb
We are resuming our Bible reflections. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30 pm, in the common room of St. Mark's Church.

We'll continue our December topic on angels. This time we'll focus on the role of angels in Christ's earthly mission. All readings will be from the New Testament. The selected readings from the Bible and suggested points for discussion and wonderment on the topic can be found on the Church's website: Bible Reflection

For questions or more information, please contact Maria L. de Ris, Eric Bridgham, or the church office.
