Dear St. Mark's Community,
On behalf of the Foxboro Discretionary Fund's Fresh Start Program, I would like to thank you for your donations of (37!) backpacks and school supplies. We have a record number of students enrolled in the program this year (over 230 Foxboro students) and your donations made a big difference!  The children, kindergarten through high school, are always so happy to get a backpack filled with fresh school supplies, to start their school year on a positive note.
Thank you again for your generosity and thoughtfulness!
Kind regards,
Carrie Kelley

While we continue to navigate the everchanging landscape of Covid-19, we are optimistic that we can, with an abundance of caution, return to some of our normal programs and activities. Please check out all of the upcoming activities on the calendar as well as the our exciting new series On Sacred Ground below. Our Community Engagement Committee, led by Lisa Conroy, is hard at work planning a fun and interactive Parish-wide Picnic that is only three weeks away! We hope you will join us as we kick off our programmatic year...

Sacred Ground

Join our Beloved Community by walking On Sacred Ground! Become a part of the more than 1,700 registered Sacred Ground circles to help raise our voices in dialogue on race.

Sacred Ground is a way for us to continue our work...

Picture
A message from our Regathering Committee: St. Mark's will once again be requiring masks at all indoor parish activities, including services, regardless of vaccination status due to the increasing COVID rates in our community and in order to protect our most vulnerable parishioners, especially those who cannot be vaccinated.

The Regathering Committee will be meeting regularly...

Living Into Our Mission

8/6/2021

Picture
by Fr. Ed Cardoza - Last Sunday, as I was closing up the church, I noticed a group gathering in our common room. They were discussing youth and family formation -- I couldn't be more pleased or proud.  First, I am excited that we are going to be trying out new things in the fall to be supportive to our families.  Second, this group represents a renewed energy and focus among the parish to deepen our commitment to live into the mission, vision and values that we approved a couple of years ago to bring both stability and growth to St. Mark's...

Introducing a new ministry at St Marks: Youth Music Ministry!

Picture
On the 3rd Sunday of the each month youth of the parish will have an opportunity to participate in providing the music for Sunday morning services.  Drawing from her extensive experience as a church musician (beginning when she was in 1st grade), Esther has planned worship songs that are NOT part of our hymnals and will be simple, catchy and (most importantly) FUN to sing!
