Our new Parish Administrator, Jon Fiske!

10/14/2023

Picture
Please give a warm welcome to our new Parish Administrator, Jon Fiske!

Originally from northern California, Jon lives in Wrentham with his wife Jan and currently has two kids in college. He is an avid volleyball player and coaches the boys volleyball team at Bellingham High School in the springtime. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home dad for many years, Jon worked as a graphic designer for an architectural firm in Boston.

Jon has been serving Trinity, Wrentham as the parish administrator since December 2022. Jon has impressed with his organizational skills, focus and follow-through, and the warm, bright welcome he offers to parishioners and visitors alike.

Bringing Jon onboard at St. Mark's will help to strengthen our collaborative efforts with Trinity while also providing time- and potential financial-savings.

Beginning October 1, St. Mark's Parish Office hours are:
Mondays             9:30am – 1pm
Wednesdays       9:30am – 1pm
Thursdays           1pm – 3pm

(Jon can be found at Trinity's Parish Office on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings.)

Next time you are at St. Mark's during the week, please do stop by for a quick "Hello and Welcome!" Jon looks forward to getting to know you and St. Mark's.

Bishop Search Survey

10/13/2023

Picture
Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a bishop for this diocese, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Diocese of Massachusetts is in the process of searching for its next bishop. The following survey is designed to gather information from the larger Massachusetts Episcopal community to inform the work of the Bishop Search Nominating Committee. Specifically, the information provided in this survey will help the Nominating Committee to both write the Diocesan Profile and to determine which qualities to seek in the candidates for the next Bishop.

The survey is voluntary. It will take about 10 minutes to complete. All information provided by participants will be protected and kept private. The survey will be open until Nov. 1, 2023. If interested, please click here.
