MANNA (Many Angels Needed Now & Always), helping our homeless community in Boston through outreach, has requested adult hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves to prepare for the winter months. This will coincide with our Giving Tree (we will use the surplus from the Discretionary Fund), so don’t worry, we’ll still need little kid stuff, too!  

*MANNA has also requested an ongoing need for both men’s and women’s NEW socks & undies, and gently used shoes. Any way you can help would be greatly appreciated. Outreach thanks you for your generosity! 

​Our St Mark’s faith community is in a time of transition as we continue our search for a new rector, explore partnering with another parish and adjust to the continuing effects of Covid. 
 
To determine our financial resources for the coming year, our Annual Appeal will kick off on Sunday, September 18th with a formal blessing. Our campaign will conclude with a celebratory brunch on Sunday, October 23rd. 
 
Our theme this year is “Ask, Seek, Knock.”  God is encouraging us to pursue our faith as a continuous act and not just a one-time effort.  As a parish, we continue to ask God to guide us as we navigate our current transitions.
 
Please join us on Sunday, September 25th for Coffee and Conversation to learn more about our goals and how we are working with you and the Wardens, Vestry and Search Committee to achieve them. We look forward to joining with you in conversation over the next few months.

St. Mark’s Hosts a Bridge Club every Wednesday at 11am, and they are always looking for new members. They also play in Walpole on Tuesdays. All are welcome, and they will supply a partner if you need one. Contact the church office if you’re interested or have any questions. Hope to see you here!
